11th graders in English 3 have started their Transcendentalism Literature and Writing Unit. The last two days, they've explored the outdoors and tried taking in their surroundings in
the spirit of Thoreau. They will be putting together a creative piece during Friday's class, filled with figurative language, about their observations of nature/the outdoors. Next week the
students will analyze excerpts from both Thoreau's "Civil Disobedience" and "Walden". Beautiful weather!
