"I initially joined the Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce to build a stronger business network in the Fremont Area. It didn’t take long for me to realize the valuable impact that the Chamber plays in the vitality of Fremont and the surrounding communities. It is because of the excitement that is being generated through chamber events that made me want to be a part of the Chamber Board of Directors. Having a direct impact on promoting businesses, meeting people, and building a network of professionals who have also become friends makes me look forward to every Chamber event. But more than anything, I recognize the importance of helping to develop and retain local talent in our business community. Fremont has a lot to be proud of and being part of the Chamber Board provides me with more opportunities to share the positive message for growth, development, and opportunities available right here, right now. I have the privilege of working for a company that is seeking high-quality individuals to join our team and we want everyone to know that there are several local companies who can provide you with professional opportunities we look for when making career decisions.

What do you love about Fremont?I think Fremont is a community that has set the bar high for rebuilding and revitalizing opportunities. Bringing in new businesses, watching established businesses grow and expand, taking a visionary approach to where we want to be in three, five or ten years. Fremont is living the tagline of “Watch Us Grow” and it is a fun time to be here. I love that Fremont is still a community where you know people by name, where businesses care about their customers, because they have been customers for generations and where people aren’t afraid to take a risk on a dream. There is a lot of good things happening and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
