Christmas is coming and all reports indicate that Santa and his elves have been very busy at the North Pole

Christmas is coming and all reports indicate that Santa and his elves have been very busy at the North Pole.

In an effort to streamline services and to ensure that all the good little boys and girls in Bellevue can get their letter directly to Santa, their has been a special delivery to the Bellevue Police Department. Earlier today, there was a clatter in the parking lot at the police department. Fortunately, Bellevue Police Officer’s Hobbs and Abbott were just reporting to duty and sprang from their office to see what was the matter. After further inspection, to what to their wondering eyes should appear? They found this special delivery from the North Pole that appeared to come from a miniature sleigh and eight tiny reindeer.

This special mailbox had a message enclosed that instructed the police department to place this in a spot where all of the boys and girls in Bellevue, Nebraska could drop off their letter to Santa and have full confidence that will be delivered straight to Santa at the North Pole.

The City of Bellevue and the Bellevue Police Department would like to invite all families to drop off their letter to Santa to the Lobby of the Bellevue Police Department at 1510 Wall Street during regular business hours. Please address the letters to Santa Claus, North Pole. Special thanks to Officer Hobbs and Officer Abbott for helping Santa out and finding a great spot to house this special delivery!

Bellevue Police Chief, Mayor Rusty Hike, City Administrator Jim Ristow, the Bellevue City Council and everyone at the City of Bellevue would like to wish you and yours a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Safe Holiday Season
