We want to take a moment to announce another promotion that happened at our department last month. Lieutenant Jay Kirwan was promoted to the rank of Captain and will oversee our Road Patrol Division.
Captain Kirwan started with BPD in July of 2002. He was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in September of 2006 and then to Lieutenant in September of 2011.
Congratulations Captain Kirwan on your promotion!
