Bellevue Mayor Rusty Hike joined members of the Offutt Advisory Council (OAC) on Offutt AFB to help make the upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday a little
better for some Military Families this year as part of the "Operation Giving Thanks Project"
Thanks to the incredible generosity of the OAC and businesses in our community, the "Operation Giving Thanks Project" was able to provide turkey's,
ham's and gift cards to over 300 families stationed at Offutt AFB. This effort was coordinated by Tim Burke and Herman Colvin with the realization that
many of these soldiers and their families may be many miles away from their loved ones during this Holiday season and they deserve they type of meal
that most of us will enjoy with our families at Thanksgiving.
Thank you to the OAC members and everyone who contributed to this project. Bellevue is a proud to be a Military Community and thank you to all of
these brave men and women as well as their families, for your service.
